Putting Out the Fire
Published in the scales project, C70 (2022)
"What a heartbreak of a radiant and searing poem this is, blending scientific fact with the deeper work of grief. The depiction of the daughters' mixed reactions sets us up for the exquisite mystery and ache of it all. Damn. This is just so good."
-Nickole Brown
poet, author of To Those Who Were Our First Gods
